Aetas Hearthstone Summer Competition

Today we are proud to announce our first ever Aetas Hearthstone championship! Over the course of the next 5 months we will organise several competitions to determine who is the best Hearthstone player within the Aetas community. Every last Sunday of the month our members will compete for points to earn the tournament title and afcourse a reward!

New format and rules
For this tournament we have created a new format which we will try-out during the “Summer championship”. Players will be put in a poule phase and play against each oppenent in a best of three. Each round that they will win grants them a point, so even if you lose the match with 2-1 you will still earn 1 point. All those points will be added up to determine which player is the best in that month. Players will receive tournament points in the following order:

1st place: 15 points
2nd place: 12 points
3rd place: 10 points
4th place: 8 points
5th place: 6 points
6th place: 5 points
7th place: 4 points
8th place: 3 points
9th place: 2 points
10th place: 1 point

Those points will be added up for the Summer Championship, the player with the most points at the end wins the titel and reward. Talking about rewards, the first prize will be 15 card packs of your own choice!! For the players that didn’t come in first, but did their best to compete there will be a consolation prize. From all other players there will be one random chosen and this competitor will receive 7 card packs of their choice!!This means that Aetas e-Sports sponsors 22 card packs each 6 months. Keep in mind that to be eligible for the prizes you have participate in at least 3 of the 5 matches.

Competition start and sign-in
The matches will be played every last Sunday of the month so the first date will be the 24th of April. The champion will be crowned on the 28th of August, which is the last tournament day. You can sign-in on the forum or contact MoFoNL directly to make sure you enter. All players need to be on the Hearthstone channel on Teamspeak at 12.30. We plan to end between 15.30 and 16.00 so that players can join Go4Hearthstone ESL on time if they want to.

We hope to see all of you joining this competition and determine once and for all who is the best Hearthstone player in Aetas e-Sports!!
